Last Saturday we visited Bodega Viña Edén, located minutes from Punta del Este, in one of the most beautiful places in Uruguay and with an unparalleled view of the mountains of Villa Edén.
Upon arrival, we were already amazed by its surroundings and the imposing architecture of its facilities that impacted as we approached.
We were warmly welcomed by the winery team, who welcomed us with their Tannat Rosé and with the glass in our hands, we toured the vineyard and learned about the winemaking philosophy.
Its vineyards are found on rocky soils where the mineral character and the oceanic influence create ideal conditions for the creation of wines with a unique style.
Then we did a guided tour of the winery, where they told us about its history and the production methods that differentiate it from the rest of the wineries in Uruguay and from majority of the world, and that is that it is its production of quality wines from in a sustainable way, since they have adopted all their production processes with the best technology in order to create high-end wines in a natural way. In all their processes they use wind and solar energy produced entirely by the establishment and are a benchmark in the region. As a great closing
of the tour, we tasted their Tannat Cemento wine straight from the concrete tank!
Later, we will enjoy a super gourmet lunch with local delicacies accompanied by 3 of their wines and Tannat liquor.
Without any doubt, we lived a different day, in a boutique winery that is an oasis in every way and where we were treated as we like, with a truly impeccable service.
