ST. JOHN’S EVE: Bonfire Night
Sunday, June 22
The spots for St John´s Eve at Bodega Familia Deicas on Saturday the 21st sold out in record time! Many thanks to everyone who chose our option for this very special celebration.
So that no one is left wanting, we are launching a second date, Sunday, June 22nd.
It will be exactly the same as Saturday´s, except we´ll start earlier— a lovely plan for a Sunday afternoon.
The event will take place at the spectacular Familia Deicas Winery, a historic venue that will provide an elegant, welcoming, and soulful setting; ideal for celebrating such a special evening.
We will take a guided tour of the winery, participate in the traditional bonfire ritual with live bagpipers, and attract all the good omens we wish for in our lives.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a unique gastronomic experience at the historic Preludio cellar, built in stone by the Jesuits in 1745 and declared a historic monument.
Moreover, each guest will take home a souvenir with spices to prepare their own mulled wine!
It will be an unforgettable evening that we will be sure to cherish for a long time.

Two completely different proposals, equally unique, to enjoy a top-level food and wine
experience — without leaving Montevideo.
We’ll explore wines from the regions of Maldonado and Colonia, paired with unforgettable cuisine.
Wednesday the 16th – La Bodeguita (Carrasco)
Peruvian cuisine dinner + vertical tasting of Sacromonte's most award-winning wines at its new wine bar.
Wednesday the 30th – Cava de Bar Tabaré (Punta Carretas)
4-course wine pairing dinner with wines from Los Cerros de San Juan, guided by sommelier Patricia Rodao.
