PRUNING DAY AT BODEGA GARZÓN

Updated: Aug 24, 2023

On the past Saturday, August 12th, we returned to Bodega Garzón, a place so incredible that no matter how many times we've visited, it never fails to amaze us, with each visit surpassing the last.

Its building is a global icon as the first sustainable winery outside of North America with LEED certification, encompassing its entire facility, an unprecedented feat worldwide.

Furthermore, in 2018, it was chosen as the "Best New World Winery" by the prestigious Wine Enthusiast’s magazine, and this year, for the fifth consecutive year, it was selected in the World’s Best Vineyards competition among the top 10 wineries in the world, ranking 6th out of 100 wineries from 15 countries.

Thus, once again, we allowed ourselves to be enchanted by everything this winery has to offer: incredible views, stunning facilities, top-notch hospitality, and of course, a noteworthy highlight: their meticulous gastronomy that consistently exceeds our expectations, accompanied by a remarkable selection of wines that we were able to enjoy in the exclusive VIP room of the restaurant, overseen by the renowned Chef Francis Mallmann.

Additionally, as a bonus, we had the opportunity to take part in the pruning of their Albariño vineyard, an activity we adored and from which we learned and had tremendous fun.

We want to express our gratitude to Naty, Vero, Andrea, Luz, Pablo, Fede, Lautaro, and the entire tourism and hospitality team at the winery for welcoming us with such warmth, attending to every detail, and making us feel truly special.

And most importantly, endless thanks as always to those who joined us in this endeavor and once again made an unforgettable day possible.
