Last Saturday, July 30, we visited Bodega Casa Grande, a family project in which the Italian tradition and the warmth of home are experienced from the first moment.

The day in full sun already predicted a day of incredible enjoyment.

Upon arrival, Washington, Francesca and Florencia were waiting for us with a big smile, happy for receive us again.

We then went to the vineyard with Washington, the 3rd generation of the family, born in that same place 65 years ago, where he saw the winery of his grandparents originally from Piedmont, Italy, grow and evolve.

He told us so many stories and anecdotes about the vineyard and his family with such passion that we wanted to continue listening to him the all day.

Then we went to the winery with Florencia, daughter of Washington and Francesca, 4th generation of the family and the winery's winemaker.

She transmitted to us the same passion as his father, about wines, secrets and even stories about wine labels.

The aroma of barrels and wine had already left us impatient to try them. So when we finished, Francesca was waiting for us in her art atelier with a delicious snack that accompanied the wine tasting directed by Antonela.

Between wine and wine, Francesca told us about her paintings, the stories behind them and more anecdotes.

Later we enjoyed some exquisite empanadas and a sweet closing with ground coffee flavored by Francesca herself. What more could we ask for?

Of course there was no shortage of raffles and laughter.

Thank you very much Di Maio Dito family and his team for receiving us with so much love and making us feel like part of the family. And of course, big thanks to all the friends who accompanied us with the joy that characterizes them.

Until next time!
