On Saturday, February 11th, we had the opportunity to visit Familia Dardanelli Winery, a 100% family-owned winery with 70 years of history. The third and fourth generations of the family work together to maintain the tradition and quality of their wines.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Alba Dardanelli, the second generation of the family, her children Eliana and Diego, and the rest of the team. They welcomed us with a delicious selection of snacks and well-chilled wines to refresh us from the intense heat of the day.
We then went on a tractor ride to tour the vineyards and see the grapes that were almost ready for the 2023 harvest.
Lunch was prepared inside the winery, where we enjoyed a typical Uruguayan barbecue accompanied by a selection of the best wines from the winery, sweet delights, and live music that made all of us get up from our chairs and start dancing.
After lunch, Eliana and the winemaker Federico Barrios took us on a tour of the winery, where we learned more about the production and family history. We enjoyed an unforgettable summer day with delicious wines and cuisine, excellent hosts, and the best company in the world.
We thank Alba, Eliana, Diego, and the entire winery team for welcoming us with such warmth.
We always leave with our hearts filled with joy every time we visit. Finally, we want to thank all the friends who accompanied us for their incredible energy and good vibes. See you next time!
