Last Tuesday we held the second edition of the “Dinner of Aromas and Flavors”.
The restaurant Umami, at his home in Carrasco was the ideal place to host two great talents working together to make a pairing dinner that will be remembered for a long time.
The menu, developed especially for us by Umami Chef Nacho Lacava, was planned
meticulously together with Manuel Filgueira, owner of the Los Nadies Winery.
The flavors of each course was enhanced by the Los Nadies wines to leave an unmistakable stamp on the night.
“Los Nadies” winery is the fourth generation of a family of Galician roots that has been producing wine in Uruguay since 1923. Their wines are all high-end and able to be stored long-term and are created using ancestral French techniques to achieve sophisticated wines with simple procedures.
Their wines are so exclusive that their sale is made only directly to the final consumer or in places where the intermediary accompanies the philosophy of this winery that has a unique history that is well worth knowing.
Their vineyard is located in the junction of Cuchilla Verde, Canelones, planted on clay and calcareous soils of southern Uruguay, but their winery and cellar are in Montevideo, in the Prado district.
We had the honor of having the presence of the wine druid Manuel Filgueira, who guided us on this night full of flavors and aromas, where great wines were combined with the incredible dishes of one of the best chefs in Uruguay.
Thank you very much to everyone who joined us and trusted in this proposal!
