Last Tuesday the 27th we enjoyed a Night for Oenophiles at Bar de Vinos, inaugurated a month ago.
We were received by two of its managers, Leo Mc Lean and Juan Pablo Clerici, who told us how this Bar was born, which was designed to show the wines of their winery, Compañía Uruguaya de Vinos de Mar, located in Garzón and to fulfill his own dream of a wine bar that reflected his philosophy.
With an atmosphere different from anything we have seen before in Uruguay, marked by innovation, each corner allows us to travel with the senses to any wine bar in the world.
In addition to the wines from their winery, they have more than 150 labels, national and foreign, many of them that can only be tasted in this bar in our country.
The wines chosen for the night in conjunction with Sommelier Leonor Sosa de la Carrera were:
Albariño and Pinot Noir from Compañía Uruguaya de Vinos de Mar, Blend Blanco by Pablo Fallabrino, “Estival”, Tannat Tinaja by Martín Viggiano, Syrah from Bodega El Legado Reserva and Tannat, Natural “Tano” from Bodega De Lucca.
These wines delighted our oenophile friends, as did each of the incredible dishes that accompanied them.
Thanks a lot to the entire Bar de Vinos team and those responsible for opening the doors of their home to us and taking care of every detail so that the night was unforgettable.
And of course, once again THANK YOU to our oenophile friends for continuing to explore with us!
Cheers!
