Last Saturday, November 20th, Wine Explorers visited Bodega H. Stagnari, a winery focused on the production of premium wines, made with grapes from their two vineyards: La Puebla - Canelones (white grape varieties) and La Caballada - Salto (red grape varieties).
Since its beginning, the winery focused on the domestic market, consolidating the brand and becoming recognized in the environment for its quality and achievements in international competitions that were
reaping over time. In fact, today the fine wines of H. Stagnari are found in selected restaurants and wine bars around the world.
We experienced a full day of enjoyment from start to finish in La Puebla, Canelones.
We were received by Marcela Castell and with her we toured her winery and awards room. Afterwards we let ourselves be surprised will be delighted by their exquisite cuisine accompanied by a variety of wines carefully selected for us and our menu (including the most highly awarded Tannat in the world)!
After lunch we toured the vineyard labyrinth and beautiful surroundings before returning back to Montevideo.
